Robert A. Adelson, a corporate, tax and employment attorney since 1977, has counseled and represented CEOs and senior executives as his clients for over 25 years. Based in Boston, he has represented executives not only in Massachusetts, New York and throughout the Northeast, but around the country and in diverse industries that include software, e-commerce, telecommunications, financial services, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical device, food, retail and consumer products, and industrial supplies.

A frequent speaker and author, Rob has written numerous articles in the areas of employment agreements, non-competes and restrictive covenants, compensation, stock, stock options and executive equity terms. His articles have been published in The Culpepper Letter, Family Business, Boston Business Journal, Genetic Engineering News and Mass High Tech: The Journal of New England Technology. Rob has also given webinars on executive employment issues for ExecSense, national webinar company based in San Francisco.

Since 2004, Rob has been a partner at Engel & Schultz, LLP, located at One Federal Street, in Boston's Financial District. Rob's work as an attorney has been recognized in the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald and other publications.

Rob holds a B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Boston University; a J.D. from Northwestern University, where he was a member of the Law Review; and an advance law degree, LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. He is a member of the bar in Massachusetts and New York.
